About us | He kupu mō mātou
Established in 1881, our Edendale manufacturing site is New Zealand’s oldest dairy processing site and with 13 plants, we produce 14 million bags of milk powder each year for export and process up to 15 million litres of milk every day in peak season. Our site is expanding with significant investment to build a new ultra-high temperature (UHT) cream plant.

About the Opportunity | Mō tēnei tūranga
As an integral member of the Edendale Site and part of our administration team, you will be primarily responsible for assisting visitors to the site (from contractors to customers) and ensuring H&S requirements are met, carrying out a range of administrative duties and assisting other teams on site where required.

Key responsibilities include:
• Managing and coordinating phone calls.
• Managing meeting room bookings, pool car bookings and supporting the security team with the sign in process to ensure that all visitors and contractors sign in and are advised of all Health and Safety regulations e.g. Site Conditions of Entry and Inductions.
• Managing the allocation of site security cards and access.
• Coordinating light fleet management general compliance
• Assisting with shareholder and customer visits and other site events.
• Providing administrative support to departments across the site
• Raising and receipting purchase orders, stationery ordering and maintaining a professional work environment
• Coordinating and assisting with travel bookings

This is a full-time permanent opportunity Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.30pm

• Experience in a similar role with professional customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to quickly build rapport and trust across all levels of Fonterra.
• A proactive “can do” attitude with the willingness to use your initiative and go the extra mile.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• The ability to juggle conflicting priorities.
• Solid intermediate computer skills, particularly in the Microsoft Office suite.
