About the Role
Winstone Wallboards is looking for a proactive and organised Transport Administrator to join our distribution team in Onehunga. Reporting to the DTS Auckland Transport Manager, this role is responsible for providing administrative support to the transport operation, helping ensure the efficient movement of products to our customers. Key responsibilities include pallet scheduling, JDE invoicing, supplier set-up, purchasing consumables and supporting the wider distribution team with administrative tasks
This is a varied, fast-paced role where no two days are the same. You'll work closely with our transport and distribution teams to ensure high levels of service, accuracy and operational efficiency are maintained.
About You
You're an organised and detail-oriented administrator who enjoys working in a busy operational environment. You can manage multiple priorities, build strong working relationships and take pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work. To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
Previous administration experience, ideally within transport, logistics, distribution or manufacturing
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Confidence working with systems and data, including Microsoft Office applications
The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A proactive, customer-focused approach
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
