About the Role:
As a key member of the Finance team, you will use your accounting and audit skills, and passion for IT, to drive improvements in Spark’s wider Finance function.
Day to day you will be involved in:
Owning and improving our core revenue accounting processes (mostly automated)
Supporting users of our in-house apps, used by the wider Finance team for balance sheet reconciliations, journal automation, and information search
Acting as a SME for revenue accounting issues and process improvement opportunities
Sourcing data from Spark’s data warehouses, for internal stakeholder reporting and to meet external reporting requirements
What experience you'll bring?
Chartered Accountant with experience in external audit
A strong demonstrable interest in IT
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
