What will you do?
We are seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner – Technology & Enterprise to join our team in Ellerslie, Auckland. In this role, you will provide outstanding support by delivering trusted, insightful, and comprehensive financial reporting, commercial analysis, and strategic business partnering across our Technology and Enterprise portfolio.
You will play a key role in supporting technology investment decisions, workforce planning, organisational productivity, enterprise performance, and future operating model design. Working closely with senior leaders across Technology, Transformation, Strategy, People & Culture, and Enterprise Support functions, you will provide the insights and commercial advice needed to drive informed decision-making and business performance.
Key responsibilities include:
Provide timely and accurate financial information and business support to assist effective financial management, oversight and decision-making for the Technology and Enterprise portfolio.
Develop accurate technology, support function and enterprise overhead forecasting based on historical data, activity drivers, workforce plans and other relevant factors supporting strategic plans.
Assist with the effective implementation of budgeting and forecasting processes for Technology and Enterprise functions, linking into the overall budget to deliver accurate and timely financial plans that are strategy led and aligned to activity plans.
Produce monthly reporting and insights for the Technology and Enterprise portfolio, with comparison to budget, prior year performance and relevant operational drivers.
Provide strategic partnering for the Technology portfolio, supporting prioritisation, investment choices, business case development and benefits tracking.

Who are you?
You will ideally be CA qualified with 5+ years' experience in a commercial finance, business partnering, or public practice environment.
You have strong commercial acumen and enjoy partnering with senior leaders to solve complex business challenges and influence decision-making.
You are highly analytical, comfortable working with large and complex data sets, and able to translate financial information into clear business insights.
You have experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, business cases, and strategic planning processes.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment, build strong stakeholder relationships, and take a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement.
Experience with Power BI, IBM Planning Analytics, Greentree, or similar financial and reporting systems would be advantageous.
