About us | He kupu mō mātou
Our Transport Fleet Services team is responsible for maintaining the milk collection fleet of over 500 units in safe and compliant condition to enable milk collection. The delivery of services requires the team to utilise processes and tools in a manner to achieve the best in business results.
About the Opportunity | Mō tēnei tūranga
As the Automotive Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator at our Pahiatua site, you’ll play a vital role within our Transport Fleet Services Team.
This position combines both office and store-based responsibilities, where your attention to detail and computer skills will be key to managing inventory and processing purchase orders for truck and trailer components. You’ll be hands on in a variety of store tasks including receipting inward goods, picking and packing orders, cycle counting, handling warranty claims, conducting reconciliations, and ensuring smooth inventory operations within our automotive store.
About You | Mōu
You're a fast learner with a proactive approach who is able to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Your strong communication skills allow you to build effective relationships across teams and with external partners and you take ownership of your work, stay organised and thrive on delivering results with accuracy and efficiency.
Key skills include
Experience in an inventory role (preferred but not essential)
Experience in a workshop, warehouse or retail environment (Maintenance Repair Overhaul preferable)
Ability to work well with little supervision
Intermediate computer literacy (ideally around SAP and Microsoft Suite, including Excel and Word)
OSH certified, forklift licence, and F endorsement (not essential but would be an advantage).
