About us | He kupu mō mātou

The GSC Customer team plays a critical role in connecting our customers, markets and operations. Working across Planning, Logistics, Manufacturing and Commercial teams, we help ensure the voice of the customer is represented in decision-making while driving strong supply chain performance and customer outcomes. The Market Manager team acts as a key connector between our markets and the wider Co-op, helping deliver a seamless customer experience.

About the Opportunity | Mō tēnei tūranga

We have an exciting opportunity for a Market Manager to join our GSC Customer team on a 12-month fixed-term basis.

As the voice of the customer across Global Supply Chain, you'll be responsible for building strong relationships across a diverse portfolio of markets. You'll work closely with market teams and operational stakeholders to understand customer needs, advocate for market priorities and support strong customer and supply chain outcomes.

This role offers a unique opportunity to engage with a broad range of customers, cultures and supply chain challenges. You'll partner across Planning, Logistics, Manufacturing and Commercial teams to drive alignment, manage issues proactively and identify opportunities to continuously improve the customer experience.

Key responsibilities include:

Championing customer advocacy across Global Supply Chain.
Building trusted relationships with market and customer stakeholders across multiple regions.
Leading market engagement, feedback discussions and regular governance forums.
Driving improvements in order book health, customer experience and DIFOT performance.
Supporting the resolution of supply chain issues and critical incidents.
Identifying opportunities for operational improvement and enhanced customer outcomes.
Providing market insights that influence customer-centric business decisions.

About You | Mōu

You'll be an experienced relationship builder with the ability to work effectively across diverse stakeholder groups and complex environments.

You may come from a supply chain, customer operations, logistics, planning or commercial background and will enjoy partnering across teams to influence outcomes and deliver value for customers.

You'll also bring:

Experience in customer-facing, market-facing or supply chain roles.
Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capability.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Experience working across multiple markets, regions or cultures would be advantageous.
Commercial and customer-centric thinking.
The ability to navigate ambiguity and manage competing priorities.
A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
