As our Service Centre & Marine Operations Supervisor, you'll be at the heart of that journey, bringing people, processes and operations together to ensure customers receive the products they need, when they need them.
Based in Portland, you'll lead a close-knit operational team across our service centre and marine terminal, creating a safe, collaborative and high-performing environment where everyone can do their best work.
From coordinating marine deliveries and managing inventory, to partnering with maintenance, logistics and customer teams, you'll help keep our operations running smoothly while continuously identifying opportunities to improve the way we work.
This is a role for someone who enjoys building relationships, supporting others to succeed and balancing day-to-day operational priorities with longer-term improvements that make a real difference to customers, colleagues and the business.
Key Responsibilities
Lead safe and efficient day-to-day operations across the Portland Marine Terminal and Northland Service Centre.
Foster a proactive health, safety and wellbeing culture for employees and contractors.
Coordinate marine receival, storage, dispatch and packaging activities to meet customer demand.
Support, coach and develop team members while building capability across the operation.
Manage inventory levels, stock accuracy and packaging requirements.
Work closely with maintenance teams to maximise equipment reliability and operational performance.
Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, contractors and marine partners.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service, safety and operational efficiency.
