About the Opportunity | Mō tēnei tūranga
As a Responsible AI Manager, you'll help shape Fonterra's approach to the ethical, compliant, and responsible use of AI across the Co-op.
Working across AI products, you'll develop the frameworks, policies, and governance practices that guide how AI is used at Fonterra. You'll help ensure AI initiatives align with regulatory requirements, organisational values, and enterprise risk settings, while supporting the consistent application of Responsible AI principles.
Partnering closely with teams across Privacy, Legal, Risk & Compliance, Data & AI, People & Culture and Technology, you'll provide guidance on emerging AI-related risks and obligations, establish oversight and assurance practices, and help navigate an evolving regulatory landscape.
Operating at the intersection of law, governance, risk, and technology, this role offers the opportunity to influence how AI is managed across Fonterra and contribute to the standards and practices that will support its responsible use into the future.
About You | Mōu
You have experience in law, governance, risk, compliance, and policy and enjoy working at the intersection of technology, ethics, and regulation. You bring sound judgement, a pragmatic approach to risk, and an understanding of the emerging regulatory landscape surrounding AI.
While you may not have held a dedicated Responsible AI role before, you've helped develop frameworks, policies, governance practices, or compliance approaches within a complex organisation. You're comfortable translating evolving requirements into practical guidance and influencing stakeholders across legal, risk, technology, and business teams.
You're motivated by the opportunity to help shape Fonterra's approach to Responsible AI and contribute to the standards and practices that will guide how AI is used across the Co-op.
