About the Role
As a Manufacturing Support Officer, you'll be at the centre of our Tauriko manufacturing operation, supporting the flow of information between Production, Distribution and Supply Chain teams. You'll be responsible for maintaining accurate system data, coordinating production and inventory transactions, supporting reporting requirements, and providing operational and administrative support that helps keep the site running smoothly and efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
Maintaining accurate production, inventory and operational data within JDE
Supporting production planning and operational scheduling activities
Coordinating inventory and warehouse transactions across production and distribution teams
Providing office administration support, including purchasing and PPE coordination
Coordinating communication across manufacturing departments
Assisting with continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
About You
You'll enjoy working with systems, data and people in equal measure and have experience supporting a manufacturing, production or operational environment. Highly organised and proactive, you'll thrive in a fast-paced setting and be confident managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Ideally, you'll have:
At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing, production support, operational coordination or similar role, supported by relevant prior work experience
A qualification in Operations Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain or a related discipline
Advanced capability using ERP systems such as JDE, SAP or similar
Strong analytical, reporting and problem-solving capabilities
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
The ability to build effective working relationships across production, distribution and support teams
