About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Machine Operator to join our manufacturing operation in Ashburton. This role operates on a rotating 3x 8-hour shift pattern between Monday to Friday. As part of our production team, you’ll be responsible for safely producing quality products and supporting the smooth efficient operation of our manufacturing process. Key responsibilities include:
Operating manufacturing machinery and production equipment.
Monitoring machine performance and product quality.
Carrying out routine checks and identifying production issues.
Assisting with machine adjustments and basic troubleshooting.
Completing production records and documentation accurately.
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
Whilst experience in manufacturing, machine operation, or a production environment is preferred, this is not essential as training will be provided. What we need from you includes:
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
A strong commitment to health and safety.
Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Practical problem-solving and mechanical aptitude are beneficial.
A willingness to contribute to continuous improvement and support a culture of ongoing improvement.
