About the Opportunity | Mō tēnei tūranga
Join our Logistics Planning team and take ownership of delivering attainable logistics plans. Based in Auckland, our team is responsible for creating optimized logistics plans over a three-month horizon, focusing on the resources needed to support the business plan while maintaining product mix optionality. We also produce distribution plans to meet expected service levels at optimal costs, delivering maximum value to our customers and shareholders.
In this role, you will report to the Logistics Network Manager and collaborate with other Logistics Network Planners. You will work closely with the Tactical Planning and Logistics Execution functions. This position requires strong stakeholder service skills and the ability to work with a wide range of internal stakeholders and transport providers to understand network risks and deliver robust plans.
1 x 12 month Fixed Term Contract.
About You | Mōu
We are looking for an energetic self-starter who can take initiative and solve problems. You should be confident and professional when communicating with stakeholders and possess excellent communication skills.
The ability to work well under pressure and prioritize your workload is essential for success in this varied and challenging role.
A background in logistics, supply/demand or production planning, inventory management, warehousing, or end-to-end supply chain is highly beneficial.
Previous track record in logistics planning, optimisation planning, demand/supply planning, production planning or inventory management
Robust experience with SAP APO, Microsoft Office 365 and Excel is required
Thoroughness, attention to detail and commitment to learn
Agility and ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytics, problem-solving and trouble-shooting ability
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and verbal
