About the role
Higgins Palmerston North is looking for a motivated and hardworking Concrete Labourer to join our team. This role will see you supporting our concrete crews across a variety of civil construction projects throughout the region. If you enjoy hands-on work, working outdoors, and being part of a supportive team, this could be the opportunity for you.
What you'll be doing:
Assisting with the preparation, placement, and finishing of concrete
Supporting kerb and channel construction activities
Carrying out general labouring duties on construction sites
Operating hand tools and small plant safely and efficiently
Assisting with site set up, maintenance, and clean-up
Supporting crews to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes for our customers
Following health, safety, and environmental requirements at all times
What you'll bring to the role:
Previous construction, civil, or labouring experience preferred
Experience working with concrete is advantageous but not essential
Full and clean Class 1 licence
Class 2 licence and WTR endorsements are an advantage
Physically fit and capable of manual work
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
Willingness to work flexible hours as required
A positive attitude and commitment to working safely
