About the Opportunity | Mō tēnei tūranga
We have an exciting opportunity for a Purchasing & Inventory Administrator to join our team at our Waitoa site.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and being part of a team that supports the smooth running of site operations. You will work closely with the wider Purchasing & Inventory team, engineering, maintenance and operational teams to ensure critical spare parts, consumables and services are available when needed.
You'll play an important role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting purchasing activities and delivering excellent customer service to internal stakeholders. This is a varied and rewarding position where teamwork, communication and attention to detail are key to success.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain inventory levels and ensure stock accuracy within SAP.
Receive, receipt, store, pick and dispatch goods safely and efficiently.
Work collaboratively with supplies, contractors and internal customers.
Raise and manage purchase orders for consumables, services and engineering requirements.
Participate in stocktakes, inventory investigations and reporting activities.
Support compliance with purchasing, inventory, food safety and health and safety procedures.
Provide support and assistance to the wider Purchasing & Inventory team.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across stores and inventory processes.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping and inventory control.
About You | Mōu
You are a motivated and team-focused individual who enjoys building positive working relationships and providing excellent customer service. You have strong organisational skills, pay close attention to detail, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
You take pride in supporting your teammates, solving problems and helping ensure the right parts and materials are available to keep the site operating efficiently.
Skills and Experience:
Experience in purchasing, inventory, stores or warehouse operations.
Strong SAP and Microsoft Office skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Experience using inventory management and purchasing systems.
Forklift Licence with F Endorsement and current OSH Certificate preferred.
Full New Zealand Drivers Licence.
Commitment to health, safety, food hygiene and housekeeping standards.
Mechanical aptitude or manufacturing experience is advantageous.
Physically capable of handling items up to 25kgs.
A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a high-performing team.
