About the role

Mico Pipelines is an exciting and growing part of our business, and as an Internal Key Account Manager at Mico Drury, you’ll play an important role in providing seamless service and essential internal support to our Trade customers while helping to grow our Pipelines business.

With a flexible, can-do attitude you’ll work closely with our sales team, manage key customer enquiries, offer product advice, prepare quotes, and deliver tailored solutions ensuring deliveries happen on time and our customers projects stay on track through clear communication and timely updates.

Engage regularly with our key customer face-to-face, over the phone, and via email
Recommend products, prepare quotes, process orders, and manage sales documentation
Use your plumbing knowledge to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions
Coordinate with Site Managers, track orders, and arrange timely deliveries
Communicate delivery times and ensure orders are ready for dispatch
Liaise with suppliers to confirm product availability and manage special requirements
Assist on the trade counter, support cycle counting and help with deliveries when required
Maintain cleanliness and uphold safety standards through general store housekeeping

Permanent full-time role based at Mico Drury branch, offering 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

About You:
To succeed in this role, you’ll be more than just a sales support person. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong plumbing industry and product knowledge who enjoys building customer relationships, identifying opportunities, and acting as a trusted advisor by providing solutions that make a real impact.

Proven experience in a similar sales coordination, internal sales, or key account role
Knowledge of plumbing products and/or plumbing industry is Essential
Highly advantageous if you have Pipeline knowledge and/or experience
Ability to manage competing priorities, meet tight deadlines, and perform under pressure
Highly organised with sharp attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Tech-savvy and comfortable working across multiple systems
Full NZ Class 1 drivers’ licence is a Must
