About the Role:
As an ICT Services engineer, you’ll be responsible for performing set-up, provisioning, and configuration functions to ICT equipment, and partnering with internal stakeholders and their customers, to enable the on-time delivery of pre-configured and tested equipment to our customer’s requirements.
Day to day you will:
· Load configuration of ICT equipment to project & customer specifications
· Develop and systematize processes to deliver customer required outcomes, including configuring, testing, and maintaining internal server and IT equipment as required.
· Process 3PL and Distribution orders including loading of configuration, asset identification and tracking, and Load Testing as required.
· Refurbish, securely wipe, decommission, configure and test returned inventory for re-deployment as required.
· Assemble and test complex pieces of equipment to a project roll out plan and specific BOM requirements.
· Complete necessary training or certification as required and participate in technical knowledge transfer & training within the team.

What experience you'll bring:
Qualifications. CCNA/FCP Certification with diploma/degree a major in Computer networking.
Experience. ICT based experience, with minimum of two years ICT industry experience.
Technical competence. A good technical understanding of PC’s, networks and switching equipment.
Communication. Outstanding communication skills in all formats, including the ability to make the complex and complicated, simple, and understandable.
Stakeholder management. Proven partnering and stakeholder management capabilities and experience i.e., working effectively within and across technical teams and functions in both large and small organisations.
Social & relationship skills. A people person, able to build rapport and constructive working relationships with diverse groups of people.
Independent and proactive. “Batteries included” – a positive, energetic, and productive person with a bias for action and getting things done.
Judgement & problem-solving. Big picture thinker, analytical and able to exercise sound judgement and use strong transaction management and problem-solving skills to improve processes and outcomes
Optional, Working experience in warehouse with required operator licences will be added advantage
