About the role
As a Customer Service Representative at Mico Mt Wellington, you’ll enjoy a varied, hands-on role working across all areas of the branch, playing a key part from the moment a customer walks through the door! From delivering tailored product advice and serving on the trade counter to coordinating orders, picking and packing products, and assisting with dispatch and deliveries when required, you'll help ensure orders reach our customers safely, accurately, and on time.
Engage with customers face-to-face, over the phone, and via email
Recommend suitable products, process orders, and manage sales documentation
Manage Inwards Goods, including accurate receipting and system entry
Monitor inventory levels, complete cycle counts and stock replenishment
Maintain cleanliness and uphold safety standards through general store housekeeping
Supporting with customer deliveries when required navigating different site layouts and ground conditions
Permanent full-time role based at Mico Mt Wellington offering 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with rostered Saturdays.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you’ll be a natural communicator and relationship builder who puts customers at the heart of everything you do. You’ll be friendly, reliable, enjoy working with others, and ready to jump in wherever needed.
Previous experience in a similar customer-facing or trade retail role
Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Confident using technology and navigating multiple system
Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting (25kgs) and manual handling tasks
Full NZ Class 1 Drivers’ Licence is Essential
Forklift experience is preferred; an F endorsement is desirable
Knowledge of plumbing, building products or the construction industry is advantageous
