About the role
We’re looking for an accomplished logistics leader to take charge of our full Auckland fleet of company and owner-driver trucks and our dispatch operation, working closely with customer service to deliver for our customers.
With one of the largest fleets in Auckland—and nationally—this is a high-impact role for someone who has led a significant, complex logistics operation and knows how to turn people, data and disciplined execution into safer, smarter and more reliable performance.
Reporting to the Head of Certified Northern, you’ll own the safe, efficient and commercially sound performance of Auckland transport operations.
You’ll lead fleet availability, driver welfare, customer service, cost, compliance and continuous improvement—working shoulder to shoulder with sales, customer service and operational teams to deliver outstanding regional outcomes.

Lead the end-to-end Auckland transport operation and set a clear performance rhythm
Build a strong safety and wellbeing culture across employees, drivers and owner-drivers
Match fleet and driver capacity to changing customer demand
Use data, dashboards and operational insight to improve decisions, productivity and service
Own KPIs spanning safety, delivery performance, utilisation, cost and customer outcomes
Lead effective dispatch and daily scheduling in partnership with customer service, sales and operations
Maintain fleet presentation, reliability and regulatory compliance
Resolve customer issues quickly and turn recurring problems into lasting improvements
Bring teams together across functions to deliver better Auckland-wide outcomes

Strong operational leadership across sizeable fleets, dispersed teams or time-critical delivery environments
Confidence using data, analytics and performance measures to spot trends, challenge assumptions and drive action
