We are looking for experienced Site Traffic Management Specialist / STMS at all levels of experience to join our WDC contract based in Ngāruawāhia.

In this role, you’ll see yourself assist with the implementation and supervision of temporary traffic management on various worksites throughout the greater Waikato area. You’ll also set up and remove traffic sites following TTM Plans, lead your crew while working on TTM sites, complete required site and STMS paperwork and reports and ensure the health and safety of you, your team and the public.

What you'll bring to the table

• Proven experience as an STMS or similar role, with a strong understanding of traffic management principles and practices.

• Hold a current STMS Cat A/B/C qualification with a strong understanding of the CoPTTM and the changes required moving towards the risk based NZGTTM.

• Comfortable completing STMS duties and guiding crew in rural local authority environment.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• A commitment to safety and quality.

• Class 2 license essential.
