About you:
You are a go-getter, always on the lookout for new business opportunities. You thrive in fast-paced environments and love the challenge of winning new clients. Networking comes naturally to you, and you can effectively manage a group of Stevenson Concrete Limited Key Account customers. You will be creating, developing, and maintaining long-term relationships and maximising sales opportunities. You will be contributing to the long-term growth of Stevenson Concrete Limited, by identifying and developing relationships with new customers. Key customers will include major pre-casters, FH Infrastructure projects, and customers with a higher degree of technical concrete support.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be an experienced Business Development Manager. Other essential skills and key responsibilities include.
Develop and implement strategies to identify and secure new business opportunities
Daily face to face prospecting for new potential clients
Grow and manage client’s needs
Achieve monthly and cold call sales targets
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients across key industries
Manage the full sales process, including tendering, contract negotiation, and closing deals
Work closely with technical team to present concrete solutions
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings
Contribute to market research and business planning to support growth initiatives
Full Class 1 drivers’ license
Sound understanding of technical, financial, logistic, sales administration and management.
Ability to maintain close coordination and teamwork with the production team and managers
Key requirements:
Proven experience in business development or sales within concrete or construction
Strong industry network and ability to generate high value leads
Experience in contract negotiation, tendering, and large-scale sales
Results-oriented mindset with strong communication and negotiation skills
Above all, you must be highly motivated, with a positive attitude and a drive to provide a high level of service to our customers. Experience in the concrete sector an advantage but not essential.
