As Aotearoa's leading medical alarm provider, our St John Medical Alarm team are passionate about helping seniors, people with disabilities, and other vulnerable members of our community stay independent for longer. Our monitored alarm systems provide peace of mind, ensuring that help is just the push of a button away.
As a Telecare Field Representative, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our customers by:
- Building positive, trusting relationships with those who rely on our medical alarms.
- Demonstrating and installing our monitored alarm systems, ensuring customers feel confident using them.
- Providing top-notch customer care, including servicing and troubleshooting alarm equipment.
- Promoting our services at community events and group demonstrations.
- Responding promptly to emergency alerts and coordinate appropriate assistance.
This role covers Tairawhiti, Wairoa, and surrounding areas. It is full-time, 40 hours per week Monday to Friday. You will also be on call every second weekend (with allowances provided).

You don’t need prior experience with medical alarms—we’ll teach you everything you need to know! What matters most is your ability to connect with people and provide outstanding customer support.
To succeed in this role, you’ll have:
- Experience in a customer-facing role.
- Strong empathy and personal resilience.
- Good technical and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to change.
- Excellent time management and organisation skills.
- A full New Zealand driver licence.
