About the role

We are seeking a versatile Marketing Generalist to join our dynamic team in Auckland. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of both in-office and remote work, reporting directly to the Head of Marketing and Digital. The ideal candidate will be a marketing generalist with a passion for driving digital growth, enhancing brand visibility, and executing cross-channel marketing strategies.

You'll be joining a friendly, open-minded, outcome-driven, and cross-functional team who is constantly evolving, learning and growing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Digital Marketing Campaigns: Plan, execute, and manage campaigns across channels such as Google, LinkedIn, and Meta across New Zealand and Australia.
  • Social Media Management: Develop and implement strategies to increase engagement and brand visibility on platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
  • Email Marketing: Create and manage effective email campaigns to engage with target audiences and drive conversions. Support with event-driven communications.
  • Product Marketing: Support with content development across digital channels to support marketing initiatives throughout the customer experience.
  • Organic Growth Initiatives: Identify opportunities to enhance organic growth through content development and SEO strategies of our websites.
  • Platform Management: Support and manage content within key platforms, including Meta, EBOSS, MasterSpec, and ArchiPro.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyse marketing performance, providing regular insights to stakeholders for data-driven decision-making.
  • Google Business Profile Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date information, responding to online feedback to uphold a positive brand image.
  • Communications: Support with internal newsletters and wider communication-related initiatives.

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of experience in Marketing, in-house or agency experience.
  • Autonomous, self-starter who has experience owning and rolling-out marketing initiatives and campaigns.
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
  • Team-first mindset, noting you'll be working alongside cross-functional team members across Vulcan.
  • Project, agency and vendor management.
  • Analytical, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
  • Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.
  • Brand Management: Experience in maintaining and enhancing brand identity and consistency.
  • Internal Stakeholder and Agency Management: Proven ability to manage relationships with internal teams and external partners.
  • Adaptability: Capacity to adapt to changing market trends and technologies.
