As our new Electrical Engineer – Transmission Lines, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of sustainable infrastructure, helping to design and deliver major projects with a focus on carbon neutrality and long-term resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the team to define project scope, prepare deliverables, and provide regular progress updates.
Deliver cost-effective designs that align with industry, company, and client standards.
Generate design criteria, reports, design verifications, and clearance tables using PLS-CADD.
Build and refine pole and tower models for PLS-CADD designs.
Develop construction assembly drawings, select materials, and create structure loading packages for vendor submissions.
Participate in internal and external meetings to support project processes and decision-making.

What are we looking for from you?
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years’ experience designing and engineering transmission lines, ideally from an engineering consultancy environment.
Alongside this, you will have the following:
A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field
Be Proficient in PLS-CADD, PLS-Pole and PLS-Tower
Knowledge and understanding of engineering standards that apply to transmission design such as ASNZS7000
Able to perform transmission line engineering work independently
