Job Description

We are looking for 2 x Permanent Fulltime Emergency Medical Assistants and/or Emergency Medical Technicians to join us on a permanent basis at Huntly Ambulance Station, within the Waikato District. This follows a DDNN 4 x 4 roster.
In this role you will:
- Work alongside a qualified Ambulance Officer
- Drive the ambulance and assist with the delivery of patient care
- Ensure operational readiness of vehicle and equipment
- Complete other relevant administrative tasks.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A current St John Authority to Practice (ATP) at First Responder or EMT
- Excellent operational and clinical performance to date
- Excellent driving record
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus
- A genuine commitment to the wellbeing of others
- The ability to work under pressure as part of a team
- Evidence of CCE
- New Zealand citizenship, permanent residency or work visa
- Demonstrated behaviours that align with Hato Hone St John's core values - Do the right thing (Mahi Tika), Side by Side (Tū Tahi), Straight Up (Mahi Pono), Make it better (Whakapai Ake), Open Minds (Whakaaro Nui)
