Project Manager

Connexa is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our team as we continue to expand our mobile network infrastructure across New Zealand. With over 2,400 mobile sites already in operation, we are committed to delivering high-quality telecommunication services that empower our customers, including leading providers like Spark and 2degrees.

In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end management of construction projects related to mobile tower installations and upgrades. You will collaborate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that each project is delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of telecommunications in New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage infrastructure projects, from planning through execution, ensuring successful project delivery.
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, timeline, and budget.
• Conduct site assessments and facilitate community engagement where necessary for project approvals.
• Manage contracts and ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project progress, prepare status reports, and communicate any challenges or risks to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in construction, infrastructure, or telecommunications.
• Strong understanding of project management principles, including planning, budgeting, and risk assessment.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Solid knowledge of civil engineering practices and health & safety regulations.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
