About the role

As our Fresh Foods Operations Manager you will be responsible for leading a team of fresh food experts to develop, lead and drive commercial and operational best practices across New World, PAK’nSAVE and Four Square South Island stores. 

Leading positive change, in fresh food departments, and identifying ways to efficiently support stores to ensure that the business get the greatest benefit from the available resources is a key component of the role.  
 

Key responsibilities include

We need someone who is highly motivated and can build momentum quickly, so we’re looking for someone who has:

•    Motivate and guide Fresh Food department Managers to meet targets and drive innovation.
•    Support Fresh Foods to maintain high standards and customer loyalty.
•    Oversee performance and implement efficiency improvements.
•    Support financial plans and drive sales growth.
•    Ensure clear communication with all stakeholders and enhance processes.

About you

We need someone who is highly motivated and can build momentum quickly, so we’re looking for someone who has:

•    Proven experience across fresh food departments, including regulatory.
•    A leader who can adapt and identify solutions to achieve business strategies and targets.
•    Ability to support, lead and grow teams
•    Commercial and analytical acumen
•    Ability to positively influence stakeholders.
