As a leading cross-platform SSH client, our mission is to boost productivity and foster collaboration by rebuilding the Terminal for the modern era.We are actively growing and seeking a Technical Writer to join our Auckland office to help us make Termius the primary work instrument for many engineers worldwide in their daily routines.

About the role

• We are looking for a technical writer with a background in IT and a passion for communication. You will be self-motivated to become a subject matter expert on the Termius product and be comfortable taking ownership of the technical writing, documentation, and content creation for external stakeholders and potential clients. 
• Your responsibilities will include providing clearly written content with a high degree of accuracy in terms of subject, spelling, and grammar; acting as a communications bridge between our technical teams and our end-users.

What we are are looking for

• Experience in technical writing best practice, preferably with four years experience in a Technical Writer or related role.
• Ability to communicate technical information in a clear and accessible manner.
• Analytical mindset to assess the impact of advocacy efforts and make data-driven decisions.
• Experience documenting enterprise-level software products.
• Familiarity with SaaS products and computer development.
• Ability to give and receive constructive feedback
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong writing skills to create compelling content.
• Proficiency with remote server management tools is a plus.
