We have an exciting opportunity to join the Delivery and Change CoE – as a Delivery Practice Lead!

 

This role is instrumental in driving delivery excellence across the New Zealand and Pacific portfolio of strategically prioritised projects. You’ll lead a team of talented project professionals and play a key role in driving exceptional delivery performance across ANZ.

 

There is a large, complex change roadmap ahead and the Delivery Practice leadership is critical to enable and support this transformation. The role will work closely with senior leadership teams to understand strategic alignment, remove project delivery blocks and ensure projects are successfully delivered.

You'll be working within a dynamic and collaborative Delivery Practice leadership team and contribute to:

 

  • Creating a high functioning, supportive Delivery community of engaged and effective project delivery professionals. 
  • Ensuring the Delivery Practice is future ready to best support the ANZ’s movement towards implementing agile ways of working that are flexible & adaptable, deliver quality/value efficiently and at pace with care.
  • Ensuring that all ANZ NZ and Pacific prioritised projects are delivered in line with established projects frameworks and methodologies including all risk frameworks.
  • Monitoring project progress (alongside the EPMO and project sponsor) to ensure that project benefits/value is delivered on time and on budget, and any project blockers are proactively addressed.
  • Ensuring that all delivery team members are supported with ongoing coaching, project training and development for continuous improvement, and a strong focus on speak up culture.
  • Developing an effective project delivery team model including individuals based in the Global Capability Centres (GCC), New Zealand and across the Pacific.

Ōu Pūkenga? - What will you bring?

 

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

 

  • Demonstrated experience in the delivery of medium to large complex projects (10+ years)
  • Knowledge of project methodologies, governance frameworks and delivery processes
  • Experience working in Agile delivery including use of tools such as Jira
  • Experience in leading large teams within dynamic accountability structures
  • Commercial acumen, critical thinking and problem solving
  • Effective stakeholder relationship management at senior levels
