Information on this opportunity

You will be part of our iNFX testing team to test Invenco product delivery quality focusing on the iNFX suite of microservices. We have a large Test Practice, and you would be joining a very collaborative team. On a day-to-day basis you’ll be focused on:

• Create & design test approaches, test plans & test scripts from analysis of business requirements, test estimates and development plans as well as their execution
• Perform product test activities like microservices upgrades and feature additions tested through validation and verification methods
• Continually seek ways to improve and enhance the quality assurance process and the process of application development and maintenance.
• Closely coordination with the members of the Engineering, Project & Test Practice teams to ensure delivery of projects within time and quality standards
• Automate all aspects of testing of the product by completing the development of test software to test new functionality and modifications and enhancing test systems through automation.
• Produce appropriate test plans, work instructions, reports and release documentation.
• Co-ordination and communication around releases, including aggregation of software packages, verification and release.

Requirements

About You

We are looking for someone with a strong testing mindset, developed through years of testing experience and continuous education. You will be part of a high performing team that are passionate about their job and work hard to get projects across the line. Our ideal candidate will have:

• 3+ years Engineering and/or hard-/software/development testing experience using testing methodologies and processes

• 2+ years of Java experience
• Tertiary qualification in engineering/electronics
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle
• Testing of embedded or microservice technology 
• Experience working with Agile development methodology
• Able to demonstrate an example of testing maturity with regards to measurability and repeatability
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• No restrictions to travel
