Assistant Accountant

The role

The team supports our Global Supply Chain and Infrastructure teams by providing commercially focused insights that enable better decision making and improved business outcomes. We are currently looking for an Assistant Accountant to partner with our stakeholders and the key responsibilities will include:

• Efficient processing and closing of month end financials.
• Preparing reports and providing high quality financial insights and commercial overview on financial performance.
• Partner with the Finance, Supply Chain & Infrastructure team to complete project business cases.
• Identity and implement process improvement projects.
• Support year-end processing and reporting including audit queries.

About You

To be successful in this position you will have:

• 1 to 2 years accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and working towards a CA qualification or equivalent
• Intermediate skills in Excel and high attention to detail
• A curious and questioning mindset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Customer service focus

Your effective communication and interpersonal skills will be critical to engage with diverse teams, combined with your inquisitive and self-starter approach that will enable you to be drive improved business outcomes.
