We are looking for an experienced Road Maintenance Asset Engineer to join our WDC contract based in Ngāruawāhia.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for data analysis, assisting with justification of forward work programmes. You will engage with the client on overall system accuracy and reporting. You will support the asset manager with surveys on network condition and asset improvement.
In addition to the above you will have:
Experience within NZ road maintenance asset management.
Tertiary level qualification preferably in Civil Engineering or equivalent in proven working experience.
Experience in analysing data related to road maintenance contracts to assist in making recommendations to improve network condition over the long term.
A high level of motivation and drive to get the job done.
Experience working with engineering consultants and contractors in road maintenance.
Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage long lasting relationships with the team, clients and stakeholders.
Experience managing and analysing large data sets.
Competency using programmes such as RAMM, Excel and Word.
