Service Desk Analyst

When you join FNZ as a Service Desk Analyst you are part of a global corporate IT department where we provide IT technical assistance to end users across the business. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a dynamic and diverse environment in the financial services sector.
We are seeking someone with a can-do attitude and a strong delivery focussed working style who is able to work collaboratively with our customers across all levels of the organisation within a rapidly changing environment.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Build and deploy desktop equipment for new joiners and existing team members
- Provide technical assistance to 500 + end users of IT services across NZ and the wider APAC region
- PC hardware support
- Efficiently managing a ticketing queue within our APAC region
- Provide day to day technical support for internal desktop and laptop systems, servers and the associated network infrastructure
- Install software releases, system upgrades, evaluate and install patches and resolve software related problems
- Document and maintain desktop build documentation and user how to guides
What are we ideally looking for in a successful candidate?
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in an ICT related field
- Minimum 1 – 2 years IT support experience
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures relating to IT systems support
- Demonstrable troubleshooting skills with end user hardware, software and connectivity problems
- Strong delivery-focussed working style and customer oriented
- Willingness to ‘go the extra mile’
