The Opportunity
Are you ready for an exhilarating opportunity as a Case Manager in New Zealand? We're looking for a dedicated professional to efficiently assess and administer disability claims within Asteron’s guidelines.
Due to internal promotion, we have two 12-month fixed-term contract opportunities. The role offers unparalleled support and collaboration within a dynamic team, ensuring your professional growth and satisfaction.
As a Case Manager, you’ll manage a portfolio of active claims, liaise with claimants to establish clear recovery plans, and provide ongoing support. Your role will involve evaluating medical conditions, reviewing financial information, and ensuring compliance with policy terms. You’ll be a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) with excellent verbal and written communication skills to boot! Your Story

Case Management experience and/or understanding of rehabilitation and return to work services
Product knowledge – experience preferred.
Life and Disability Claims knowledge – experience preferred.
Interpretation of business accounts – experience preferred.
Understanding of medical terminology and files – experience preferred.
Good working knowledge of community resources and providers, liaison with external service providers required for role
Knowledge of legal aspects in relation to the Privacy Act, the Human Rights Act and the Insurance Law Reform Act
