The core function of the Clients and Industries team based in Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland, is to build internal relationships, work with our partners and our people as they generate pipeline and improve the firm’s effectiveness at winning profitable client engagements and taking new products to market.
Working in the Clients and Industries team as part of the wider Markets team, this role is to work as an advisor on priority opportunities and market strategies in consultation with fellow Client and Industries team members, Sector, Business Unit and client relationship leaders and partners.
This opportunity is a 12 month parental leave cover contract from January 2025 until January 2026.
Within this team, your day to day responsibilities could include:
Working as a core part of the Clients and Industries team to take an active advisory and execution role on the Firm’s Go to Market framework, across strategic sectors and clients, products and pursuits
Leveraging the Firm's global sales framework to advise and work with stakeholders on complex opportunities or bids, including go/no-go decisions, win strategy, value proposition development, proposal roadmaps and response generation
Project manage RFP processes end to end, including managing inputs from a variety of stakeholders (i.e. gathering, organising, interpreting and collating data from various sources) in order to create content for peer review
Work with partners and teams and our Marketing Communications specialists to develop and execute campaigns that deliver client insight and differentiated experiences
Utilise the Firm’s CRM system and pipeline management tool to track sales and relationship development, and generate and share insights

Over 7 years of experience advising on major and complex pursuits, priority clients, bids, and opportunities at the executive level within a B2B or professional services environment.
Excellent project and time management skills with a proven track record in managing complex, multi-workstream opportunities and meeting deadlines.
Strong communication skills, including speaking, writing, editing, and the use of graphics; able to build trust and rapport with senior stakeholders and confidently present to large groups.
Proven ability to collaborate within an integrated Markets team and work effectively as part of multidisciplinary sales and marketing communications teams.
Skilled in adapting to and influencing diverse working styles; experienced in coaching teams for challenging sales situations, providing constructive feedback, and prioritising multiple tasks
