About the role

We are looking for Claims Assessor superstars to join our Pet Insurance Claims Assessing Team in Hamilton.
You will have a professional and proactive nature, coupled with strong attention to detail that enables you to make strong decisions.
You will assess claims and support our customers with their pets by:
- Analysing claims and deciding whether they are covered by our policies
- Delivering operational excellence by achieving fair, accurate outcomes for our customers
- Supporting a world class service for our customers through a decisive and fact-based approach
- Working at pace to maintain a rapid claims turnaround time
- Investing in your personal development to build skills and contribute towards our business strategy
- Having a real passion for the care of our customers and their pets
What we are looking for:
- Experience in a similar role where decision-making and judgement calls are made
- An eye for detail, with the focus to double check work to ensure accuracy
- An interest in processes and supporting defined policy standards
- A fair, empathetic and logical approach to making decisions
- A team member who is organised and able to work in a resilient way
- A team player with the ability to work collaboratively with individuals and departments
- An agile mindset along with a flexible and adaptive work ethic
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all dealings
- Develop effective relationships across the organisation with all levels of employees
- Shows initiative and takes responsibility for own actions
- Seeks opportunities to improve work procedures and processes
- Most of all a lover of all pets big or small
