We are looking for a passionate self-starter with experience in managing relationships, and a strong understanding of fundraising principles and best practice to join the Hato Hone St John Fundraising team and make a meaningful impact!

As the Regular Giving Lead, you will be responsible for leading Hato Hone St John’s Regular Giving programme ensuring the delivery of $6 million fundraising revenue each year. You will lead multi-channel campaigns that include agency-led acquisition and retention activities across face-to-face, phone, and digital. Your role will oversee the donor journey ensuring that donors have a positive experience and understand the need, and lifesaving impact, of their support.

This is a 9-month fixed term, full time role, reporting to the Individual Giving Manager. Ideally, you will be available to start early April for a comprehensive induction and handover.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all Regular Giving activities with agency partners, including briefing and campaign set up, ongoing campaign management, budgets, training and collateral development
  • Ensure programme performance and quality control of fundraising activities by monitoring and driving results and providing recommendations to optimise the programme
  • Oversee the day-to-day coordination and relationship management of agencies and suppliers to maintain strong engagement with 18,000 donors
  • Manage multiple campaigns within the programme, ensuring weekly and annual targets are met by driving performance and results
  • Collaborate with internal and external data stakeholders to leverage insights for identifying fundraising opportunities and improving programme efficiency and sustainability
  • Steward and retain donors with engaging impact communications throughout the donor journey

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A strong understanding of fundraising principles, donor retention and acquisition strategies
  • Solid experience managing face-to-face and tele-fundraising programmes
  • Strong problem-solving, persuasion and negotiation skills
  • The ability to build and maintain positive, proactive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Effective leadership skills to manage agency relationships and drive results to meet organisational targets
  • Excellent time management skills to balance multiple priorities and deliver results before deadlines
  • A good understanding of numbers, with experience in utilising and analysing data to inform decisions
