Key Responsibilities:
- HR Support & Advisory: Provide guidance on HR-related matters, ensuring compliance with NZ employment law and company policies

- Employee Relations: Manage employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and performance improvement plans.
- HR Reporting & Analytics: Track and report on HR metrics, providing insights and recommendations to improve decision-making and HR processes.
- Support to P&C Team: Contribute to the broader P&C team, assisting with various HR functions including safety, compliance, and other people-related initiatives.
Qualifications
What you’ll need to be brilliant:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in HR or equivalent experience, with operational knowledge in logistics or transport (advantageous).
- Proven HR experience, with expertise in recruitment, including developing and implementing strategies and managing end-to-end recruitment processes.
- In-depth knowledge of NZ employment law and preferably NZ immigration rules
- Demonstrated experience in Employee Relations, including handling disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans and conflict resolution
- Experience partnering with leadership to drive a high-performance culture and align HR strategies with business goals.
- Coaching and development experience, including performance appraisals and training needs analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
This is a busy role interacting with managers and the wider People & Capability team so your ability to communicate and collaborate goes without saying.
