Job Description
About the role
You will work closely with recruitment & HR personnel, residential housing suppliers and department managers & supervisors to support the needs of our migrant workers from recruitment and onboarding through to development and career progression.
This will be a full-time position and based on your experience and qualifications, your annual salary will range from $55k - $70k
As a Pastoral Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
- Coordination of programs and services to support migrant workers upon their arrival in New Zealand.
- Coordination of flight arrivals and domestic transport arrangements and settling into accommodation.
- Coordinating the induction and onboarding for new employees with relevant stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain a database of migrant workers and track their on-job development progress.
- Support the needs of our migrant workers to ensure enjoyment of their time here in NZ.
Qualifications
For this role, you’ll need:
- At least 2 years practical experience in a similar role.
- Experience in connecting migrant workers with the services they need, including housing, health care, legal services, and job training.
- Working knowledge of immigration, employment relations and privacy requirements.
- Demonstrated understanding of how to maintain appropriate confidentiality.
- Excellent organisational skills & interpersonal skills.
