We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join our Engineering team. This role focuses on developing secure, scalable and maintainable cloud services, collaborating across teams and contributing to the growth of our generative AI capabilities. You will work closely with product managers, designers and engineers to deliver customer-centric solutions while mentoring and supporting team members in a collaborative and inclusive environment.
What you will do
- Develop secure, scalable, and maintainable cloud services using technologies like C#, Kafka, Terraform, TypeScript and React.
- Collaborate with the AI enablement team on Python-based services and prompt engineering for generative AI
- Create incremental customer value by delivering continuous updates to production
- Partner with product managers and designers to address open-ended customer challenges
- Work with other teams on technical improvements, larger initiatives and production operations
- Provide mentorship and support to other engineers, fostering a safe and inclusive team environment
About you
- 5+ years of experience designing, developing and operating cloud software at scale
- Experience with building generative AI product features is highly desirable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively in flat, cross-functional teams
- Strong decision-making skills, informed by team goals, domain knowledge and engineering principles
- Capability to manage risk, ambiguity and dependencies effectively
- A growth mindset with a strong sense of ownership
- Experience working with distributed teams in global engineering organisations
