Team Global Express NZ delivers freight forwarding, end-to-end transport services, and comprehensive logistics solutions to customers operating in New Zealand scaling from Kaitaia to Invercargill.

We have an exciting opportunity for a FCL (Full Container Load) Night Dispatcher to join our branch in Auckland. You will be responsible for coordinating the movement of full container shipments as well as their scheduling and monitoring.   You will be customer-focussed, ensuring that all customer requirements are met, working 4.00pm to 12.30am, Monday to Friday.   

He angitūtanga: The opportunity

The purpose of this role is to effectively coordinate our FCL deliveries for key customers and our logistics business.  Your strengths will lie within your planning and delivery skills. You will be organised, provide attention to detail, be flexible and have the ability to change priorities at short notice. The role will also require updating relevant IT systems, generating reports, and actioning or allocating work based upon the findings.  In addition, you will be responsible for;

• Support the FCL operation to coordinate and monitor the PM dispatch of FCL deliveries
• Engage in effective communication with customers
• Manage scheduling and routing of fleet and drivers
• Resolving any internal & external customer issues and increase satisfaction levels
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety requirements
• Administration and documentation of deliveries and  
• Address and solve any issues that arise and implement corrective actions
• Oversee compliance & fleet presentation requirements

Your Skills - ō pūkenga

• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Knowledge of the Transport/Logistics industry
• Minimum of 1 years’ experience in Freight operations or similar position
• Sound computer and Microsoft Office Skills (Intermediate)
• Clean Class 1 NZ Driver’s License
• Demonstratable geographical knowledge
