About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled mixing engineer to assist with ongoing music projects. The ideal candidate will work remotely to provide preliminary mixing services for completed tracks, focusing on genres such as Hip Hop, RnB, Soul, and Reggae. This long-term role requires a mid-level engineer who can set the foundation for the producer's final mix adjustments and automation.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and work with completed client tracks in Logic Pro
• Perform preliminary mixes, focusing on overall balance, compression, and EQ settings
• Utilise industry-standard plugins, including Waves, Fabfilter, Izotope, Soundtoys, and UAD
• Prepare mixes for further calibration and automation by the producer

Requirements

• Proven experience as a mix engineer, with a focus on Hip Hop, RnB, Soul, and Reggae genres
• Proficiency in Logic Pro and familiarity with Waves, Fabfilter, Izotope, Soundtoys, and UAD plugins
• Strong understanding of mixing techniques, including balance, compression, and EQ
• Ability to work independently and remotely while maintaining clear communication
