What your role and typical day might look like.
Simply put, as an Account Manager at dentsu Creative your purpose will be to solve problems and helping to come up with solutions for our clients. Of course you’re not alone, you’ll be bringing together and collaborating with some of the best and brightest across the creative and wider dentsu communities together to facilitate concept development, writing client proposals and presenting to clients with confidence.
With the help of your team, you’ll lead the execution of marketing campaigns to a high standard, whist building strong relationships (with clients, internal teams and suppliers) to exceed expectations to create work worth talking about. As a key team member and point of contact for the client, you’ll help mentor junior team members and bring them on the journey with you to grow together.
Responsibilities could include.
- Managing projects from day-to-day BAU work required by clients to larger brand campaigns. This includes coordinating with production partners, agency partners, media, and the wider team (e.g., strategy, creative) to ensure work is completed to the highest standards. With no in-house producers, this will be a critical part of the role.
- Proofing and presenting work to clients, ensuring it aligns with their needs and objectives based on a deep understanding of their requirements. Acting as their key support person, you’ll adapt to changing client needs and navigate complexities that arise.
- Understanding commercial goals of the client and articulating the value of dentsu led solutions for the client and breaking it down to deliverables for the team.
- Managing financial targets and budgets, manage project finances, and team performance to meet deadlines. You’ll play an active part in business forecasts alongside senior management and finance teams.
- Continuously building on strong relationships with clients and supplies, which will include negotiating and uncovering new opportunities across all dentsu brands and services (Creative, Media & CXM).
A bit about you.
- Previous experience working in a creative/advertising agency.
- Proven client relationship and negotiation skills across multiple accounts as an Account Manager.
- Delivery focused and solutions orientated, priding yourself on ability to deliver campaign to a high standard end to end and multitask effectively across different projects/clients.
- Naturally inquisitive and commercially savvy.
- Proactive communication style to negotiate, manage stakeholder expectations and bring people together on a journey.
- Experience supporting junior team members and mentoring.
- Results orientated, collaborative and self-driven.
