Funeral Director & Mortuary Assistant

Robert J. Cotton are a third-generation family-owned Funeral Directors whose mission is to provide the highest standard of service in the Manawatū.  We have a rewarding opportunity available to join our team. Whether you have previous experience in our industry or have a genuine interest in helping families, we are interested in hearing from you.

You will be dedicated to both aspects of funeral directing and assisting our embalming team in the mortuary. First and foremost, you will value positive relationships with the people who entrust their loved ones into our care. You will enjoy working alongside a team who support, encourage and value each other, and work hard to ensure the highest service around. You’ll have the want to be part of something special, something rewarding, and are committed to the journey we take with families.

You will ideally be an experienced Funeral Director or have the right aptitude and be willing to learn, as training will be available for the right person. You will take initiative, be trustworthy, respectful and confidential, as well as being physically fit. You will also have good experience working with technology. You will be the total package.
