Service Sales Representative - Elevator/Escalator

 

Your main responsibilities

As a Service Sales Representative (Account Manager), you will negotiate and secure contracts for new and existing customers in Auckland. You will be dealing with warm leads. Your keys to success will be your customer service and relationship focus. You will display excellent organization, follow through, and time management skills. Your role will require you to:

 

  • Negotiate contracts with new and existing customers.
  • Assist in proposal planning and tender preparation.
  • Maintain contract database and associated files.
  • Develop and prepare required internal and external reports.
  • Liaise with customers on compliance defects, renovations, repairs & connectivity, and process associated sales in line with set targets.
  • Forecast sales (service/renovations/repairs) targets and ensure they are met.
  • Arrange and participate in regular, planned internal and external client meetings. Involve other Schindler Managers and operational staff where appropriate.

 

 

What you bring

  • Three years’ experience as an account manager or business development manager in a technical or industrial field (e.g. Lift, HVAC, Fire Protection or Building Facilities)
  • Strong background in CRM, SAP, and MS Excel
  • Value high standards of customer service
  • Goal focused with experience managing multiple priorities.
  • Highly organised
  • Keen into details and keep meticulous records.
  • Enjoy working in a dynamic environment.
  • Proactive mindset
  • Collaborative
  • Excellent English & communication skills
  • Eligibility to work permanently in New Zealand
