Eurofins Food and Water Testing New Zealand provides range of class leading food, water, plant, soil and fertilizer testing, as well as horticultural services, auditing and technical solutions, primarily to the New Zealand market. Job Description
As a Software Developer you will create improvements and fix errors in our company’s IT System. You will receive requests from our end-users and either trouble-shoot issues or determine appropriate solutions and implement the necessary code-changes. Your work will be pivotal to the success of the business and the productivity of our staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse support-requests and identify software solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and technical issues.
- Design, code, test, and debug software applications.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and best practices.
- Write and maintain clear, concise documentation for software applications.
- Continuously learn and stay updated on new technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or STEM topic (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).
- Proficiency in the programming languages SQL, .NET (C#) and VB Scripting.
- Familiarity with team-development practices and version control systems, such as TFS DevOps or Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and customer-focus in supporting our end-users
Nice to Have:
- Passion for life-sciences such as Chemistry and Microbiology.
- Experience with web development frameworks (e.g., C# Razor, Core).
