Join us as a Drainage/3 Waters Project Manager in our Hamilton office. This role offers diversity, challenge, and an ability to make your mark. You will have a strong focus on people leadership and development, managing key stakeholder relationships, and have operational and financial accountability.

You will lead from the front and oversee daily management including survey, set outs, client communication\relations, subcontractor control, claims, variations and quality assurance documentation.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering or Drainage with experience in the 3 waters infrastructure in New Zealand

  • Experience managing and developing teams

  • Experience in local council water reticulation renewals

  • Relevant water reticulation qualification

  • Relevant experience in managing HSE risk associated with drainage work

In addition to the above you will:

  • Ensure reports, claims and programmes are prepared and submitted correctly and in a timely manner

  • Ensure forward planning, organising and ordering of contract subbies/ survey/ materials/ plant/ people

  • Ensure your department staff are provided with leadership and guidance to maximise performance

  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with customers and other key stakeholders
