Business Development Manager

Nayax New Zealand is now looking for an experienced Business Development Manager (m/f/d) to strengthen its team, full-time.  

Nayax is looking for a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our dynamic and high-performing sales team. As a BDM, you are responsible for developing and implementing strategies to grow a business. This role will also identify new business opportunities, build relationships with clients, and analyze market trends  

Requirements

IN THIS POSITION YOU WILL BE TASKED TO:

• Identify and target new business opportunities across New Zealand
• Build strong, trust-based relationships with prospective clients
• Develop and execute a sales strategy focused on sustainable growth
• Work closely with the CEO to align efforts with organizational goals
• Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities
• Drive the full sales cycle, from prospecting and pitching to closing deals and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience
• Lead by example, achieving personal sales targets whilst building and scaling a sales team as needed over time
• Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance lead generation and build a strong deal pipeline

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:

• Has a hunter's mindset
• Has a proven track record in relationship-based sales (not transactional selling)
• Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Is proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently
• Has experience in business development within the payments industry
• Understands the New Zealand market and can navigate it with confidence and expertise
