We're looking for a Chemical Plant Operator to join our Polymer & Emulsion Production Team based out of Mt Wellington- Auckland.

As a Polymer & Emulsion Production Plant Operator, you work in a fast-paced environment, running daily plant operations. This includes managing multiple product lines and being proactive in trouble shooting to ensure all manufactured products are of top quality.

In addition to above, you'll:

• Perform basic troubleshooting and calibration on Plant and equipment.

• Carrying out daily production of Polymer Emulsion to required quality standards

• Carrying out daily plant inspection checks.

• Assist with plant and equipment preventative maintenance

• Delivering on customer orders in time with good record keeping

• Product sampling for testing in line with the quality control plan

• Providing accurate reporting of daily production, quality & safety through the role

We’re looking for someone with:

• Must hold a NZ class 1 full driver's licence

• Must be available for both Day and Night shifts on a rotational roster

• Experience in working in the Bitumen/Chemical Plant sector is ideal

• Physically fit with safe work ethics

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal with a variety of stakeholders

• Good mechanical understanding is advantageous

• Good computer skills are required for this role

This is a full time position, guaranteed a minimum of 40 hours per week. The base wage ranges from $27.00 - $38.00 per hour, subject to skills and experience. Official title will be Specialist Operator./
