Liquor Manager- New World Kaikoura

Full Time 32 Hours

We are currently looking for a Liquor Manager/Buyer to join our awesome team at New World Kaikoura. This varied role will report directly to the business owners and will include the following tasks:

• Liquor ordering for the store
• Meeting with reps from the liquor companies
• Cyclical stocktaking
• Stock maintenance
• Setting up weekly point of sale displays
• Electronic Shelf Label maintenance
• Customer service/orders for liquor department
• Retail execution
• Administrative tasks such as receipting of stock, arranging credits for damaged stock
• Leadership and management of the members of the Liquor team

The successful applicant will need to display the following attributes:

• Have sound leadership skills, along with the ability to delegate and organise a small team
• Have great organisation and time management skills
• Must have good communication skills
• Be able to show initiative and have a ‘get things done’ attitude
• Be able to work unsupervised (though full training will be given)
• Have a good sense of humour ??
• Have sound computer skills (experience with SAP would be an advantage)
• Have a passion for retail and delivering amazing products and displays for our customers
• Be a team player
• Be flexible to help other departments as the business requires
