This program is a key initiative driving scalability, insight generation, and global consistency across our entire business. As part of our Operating Model's "Must Win" initiatives, the Horizon Program will fundamentally reshape how we access, share, and use information and data across the organization.

We’re looking for a Transport Management Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join this game-changing project. In this role, you’ll provide invaluable insights into current business processes and lead the design, development, and deployment of a global supply chain solution. You will own specific streams within the overall value chain, ensuring all deliverables align with Zespri's business requirements.

Your focus will be on Transport Management, where you’ll be responsible for creating and implementing standardized global transport management solutions, allowing for regional variations only when essential. Your areas of responsibility include:

• Overseeing shipment management across all markets, from procurement through to routing and freight settlement.
• Ensuring transport management integrates seamlessly with the processes required for exporting fruit globally.
• Managing road freight operations, covering all aspects from procurement to routing and settlement.
• Developing and executing freight forecasting and settlement strategies.
• Providing distribution management expertise on cross-functional activities as required.

As part of a global team of SMEs and external consultants, you’ll play a critical role in delivering a high-quality, integrated global supply chain process. This is 24 month fixed term contract.

• A tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
• Significant experience across Zespri’s processes is highly desirable.
• Deep understanding of end-to-end systems and technical solutions.
• Experience working across multiple geographies and jurisdictions.
• Expertise in building strong relationships, challenging assumptions, and driving high-quality decision-making.
