The Role

Due to exciting business growth, we currently have a new opportunity to join our Process Cleaning Solutions business as a Product Manager managing our Food & Beverage product portfolio to ensure security of supply of chemicals, reagents and equipment for our customers.

You will manage the product supply, distribution, pricing, inventory, HSE and suppliers across this portfolio, along with the B2B marketing program to ensure the portfolio is well marketed to our end customers.

Reporting to our Market Manager, this is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain product management experience in a developmental role where you will work within a supportive and collaborative work environment, in a dynamic role that will ensure no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities

• Stock management to ensure products are consistently available for customers
• Complete forecast and pricing processes linking in with sales and operations planning teams
• Ensure compliance with general hazardous substances legislation and internal standards and guidelines
• Ensure the portfolio is well positioned, promoted and marketed within the food and beverage market and other applicable markets
• Provide advice, support, training and documentation to the commercial sales teams relating to all products within the portfolio
• Manage supplier performance, including KPIs, and maintain positive, collaborative supplier relationships
• Ensure the portfolio meets end customer requirements relating to regulatory and governmental approvals
• Ensure portfolio meets budgeted financial targets and supports the growth of the IXOM business
• Grow the portfolio including addition of the new products and technology and integration to IXOM supply chain and sales channels

Who are we looking for?

• 1-3 years previous role experience in a technical sales discipline or product management of a technical portfolio
• Proven track record in tailored solution selling and/or B2B marketing would be an advantage
• Experience in the chemical, cleaning (sanitation), food and/or beverage industries is preferrable
• Negotiation, project management and supplier management experience would be great, but not essential
• Tertiary qualified in a Food Science or Engineering discipline is preferred

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build longstanding relationships and influence
